They're basically a step up from the original etch-a-sketch I had as a kid.
Since about 9 months old, she has gone for this one. At first it was just trying to figure out how to hold the pen. Then watching the wheels turn as she realizes she can draw was so fun to watch.
Now she asks me to draw things on them for her, and tries to mimic them, at just 2 years old!
It's mess free, no clean up, and easy for her to tote around the house.
I love the larger ones pictured because they draw in different colors instead of just black.
It allows creativity and teaches them dexterity.
The smaller ones is still fun, just a more compact version and easy to throw in the diaper bag for an on-the-go toy.
These will be around for a while, I'm sure of it!
